David and Solika Ruboch immigrated from Morocco, each separately. David came from Mogador near Casablanca, and Solika from Rabat. The two met in the Musrara neighborhood and married in 1949. They had six children: the eldest, Yossi (Susu), Kochava, Rina, Gadi, Nitza, and Elishi. The Ruboch family lived at 11 Nathan HaNavi Street until they left the neighborhood in 1974.
