The Abergel Family

Esther and David Abergel married in Rabat, Morocco. The couple had ten children: Reshel, Margo, Babar (the late), Jacky (the late), Reuven, Charlie, Madlen, Eliezer, Yaakov, and Tikva. They immigrated to Israel in 1950 after a long stay in a transit camp in Marseille. They arrived at the transit camp in Pardes Hana and from there moved to live at 5 HaMishmarot Street in Musrara. Reuven Abergel is one of the founders of the Black Panthers movement.
