The Buhbut Family

Messaoud and Messaouda Bouhbot were married in Morocco There, their five children were born: Meir (of blessed memory), Eli (of blessed memory), Maimon, Aliza, and Georgette.

In 1948, the family immigrated to Israel and went to a transit camp in Pardes Hana After several months, they moved to the Musrara neighborhood and lived on Ah”h Street. When the children married, they left the neighborhood, except for the daughter Georgette and the grandson Moti, Maimon’s son, who lived with them.

Messaoud used to sell sfenj in the neighborhood, and Messaouda was known for her traditional remedies.
