The Levi Family

Hana Mashali Levi (of blessed memory), the mother of the family, was born in Fez, Morocco. In 1950, she immigrated to Israel with her daughter, Simone. They arrived directly on Ah”h Street in the Musrara neighborhood. In Israel, she met Moshe Levi (of blessed memory). The couple had four children: David, Chaya, Mordechai, and Hadassah. Later, Moshe passed away, and Hana raised their children on her own. Hana worked as a maid at the King David Hotel.
